First Thing to Go

After you lose a loved one, what is the first memory to go? Each passing day and each second something disappears forever from memory. Is it the sound of their voice when they pulled you in tight, making sure knew how much they loved you? Was it how they'd jump in your lap after a long day, kneading their paws and purring loud enough to shake the room?

When was that last hug? That last cuddle? What did it sound like? What did it feel like?
